Waud Wines launched in 2011 and is the result of many jovial social gatherings and an increasing fascination of wine within the Waud family and its extended network of friends.

‘Why don’t you start this as a business – we would buy from you. We love your wines and your tastings’ – so we did!

The club was based on a hard core of wine lovers of varying vinous knowledge – but all adequately possessing the thirst and hunger for exciting wines. Our members now have access to interesting parcels of wine that they would not ordinarily have access to.

Waud Wine Club – Our Members Club

This is the core to our business – and is where it all began. The Club aims to provide interesting and unusual wines (ie. Not High Street) that the members can enjoy. Our wines mainly come from the Old World, as we specialise in France, Spain, Italy and Portugal. But we also now have smaller parcels of wine from South Africa, New Zealand, Chile and Argentina.

As a member of the club:

• You will be sent 3 themed 12 bottle taster cases throughout the year (in April, August and December)
• You will be invited to 4 or 5 dinners and tastings
• You will be invited on 2 overseas wine tours
• You will receive special weekly wine offers – magnums, en primeur wines, discounted wines etc
• You can  invite your friends to join our functions and to join the club

Waud Investment Wines

A natural and planned extension of the wine club business was the investment wine market, as it presented itself on the back of the robust wine club structure, resources, knowledge and facilities. Through a joint venture, we have full access to the growers and allocations of the best Bordeaux investment wines available. We have enjoyed successful Bordeaux campaigns in 2014, 2015 and 2016 and have sourced the great wines including Chateau Lafite, Mouton Rothschild, Chateau Canon, Rauzan Segla, Lynch Bages and more…

Corporate Tastings and Events

Whether it is company entertainment or a personal event, wine tastings are always entertaining and impressive. Bespoke tastings are a passion at Waud Wines, with large group tastings through to small wine dinners organised all over London and the South East for companies and private clients; it is our speciality.

Corporate Gifts

Throughout the year, Waud Wines deliver gifts for your clients, staff and friends that have perceptually high value. Our selection of champagnes, magnums, mixed cases and fine wines are hand packaged, with a personalised card enclosed and then sent directly to your clients. This is now a major and important part of our business.

Trade Sales

The final piece in the jigsaw is our trade business. Waud Wines list a number of our wines in Michelin starred restaurants, bars, clubs and pubs across the country.
