The Waud Wine Club enjoyed a very successful summer meeting at Walton Heath Golf Club on Friday.

We had a great turnout of 58 members and guests for the tasting, and 32 of those guests taking part in an afternoon knock on the Old Course in the blazing sunshine.

We showed our list of French wines – 29 in total from Rhone, Bordeaux, Languedoc and the South West of France.

Walton Heath then put on a fantastic gourmet barbecue which was enjoyed by all.

All in all, a very successful tasting evening – Now all we need to do is start planning the next one which should be back in London in November.
