You may not have noticed, but I realised this morning that we have all managed to last over three months without a bank holiday!
Fortunately though, we are now only a few weeks away until our first of 2016, so I want to make sure you are stocked and prepared for the 4 day weekend starting on the 25th March.
This is probably the first opportunity to crack open the Rose – so please take your pick between these two club favourites.
Dom. du Grand Chemin – Amour de Gris Rose 2014
A beautifully pale and delicate wine from a great Southern French producer of heritage Grenache. Soft alpine strawberry and red grape flavours on the palate, it is fruity but dry with a palate cleansing finish reminiscent of tart raspberry sorbet and white currants.
Price: £7.99 (6x75cl)
Vondeling Rose 2014
We are especially pleased with our rose from the Vondeling vineyard in South Africa. A pale pink colour with a hint of orange. There is an enticing bouquet of rose petals, red currents and tropical fruit. Refreshing and vibrant on the palate, with red berry flavours, floral undertones and a crisp finish.
Price: £7.75 (6x75cl)
