The Waud Wine Club had a very enjoyable Spring Portfolio tasting on the 37th floor at Heron Tower last night for 85 guests. With 42 different wines on show, there was plenty of variety and we were very pleased to have special guests including Ralph Hochar from Lebanese power house – Chateau Musar, Alex Schulz from Turkey Flat Vineyards in Barossa Valley and Christo Eliott Lockhart who was representing wines from the Sassicaia and Ornellaia stables.

The top wines from the evening included; Mas de Daumas Gassac Rose Frizant, Clos Pons Roc de Foc, Tenuta San Guido Guildalberto, Chateau Musar 2004, the sweet wine from Domaine de Berthoumieu in Madiran as well as the full range of Vondeling wines.
