The Waud Wine Club had one of the most successful tastings to date at the fantastic new Hispania restaurant in Lombard Street in the City.

We had 54 members and guests to try a selection of Spanish and Portuguese wines from across our portfolio. We also had a rather interesting sherry tasting from Hispania, as well as Remi from our supplier; Indigo to talk us through a selection of other wines that are not currently on our list.

The stand out wines from the evening seemed to be the Hacienda Monterebro Barrica 2011, the Louro do Bolo 2011 and the Coto de Gomariz Abadia de Gomariz.
