We had a fantastic wine tasting and bbq (indoors!) on Friday for our Summer Portfolio tasting. With 50 guests in attendance – a mixture of Waud Wine Club members, Walton Heath members, as well as other guests – we worked our way through 35 exciting wines from our portfolio.

The most popular wines were the Puech Haut Rose 2018, Brunel de la Gardine CDR White 2018, Vondeling Babiana 2016, Puech Haut Tete de Belier Blanc 2017, Clos Pons Roc Nu 2011, and Meerlust Estate Red 2016.

It was a very successful night for the club, with 4 new members joining, and over 40 cases of wine sold.

We look forward to returning next year where hopefully there will be better weather!
