Last night the Waud Wine Club held a private tasting for James Southey and his team at the CBRE offices at Paternoster Row. It was a Mediterranean themed tasting for 40 guests where we tried 12 wines from France, Spain, Italy and Portugal.

Particular favourites were the Castelnau Brut Reserve Champagne, Encosta Longa Sensual 2008, Le Sang de Cailloux Doucinello Vacqueyras 2008 and the sweet La Magendia from Clos Lapeyre in Jurancon, South West France.

We are very pleased to have received some new Waud Wine Club members from the evening as well.
