The Club started 2014 off with a bang after a very enjoyable evening at Gordon Ramsay’s new restaurant in Southwark – Union Street Cafe.

56 members and guests took part in a wine tasting of Spanish wines (and a sparkling rose from Mas de Daumas Gassac to start). We were very pleased to have Miguel Pico over from Spain for a couple of days from Clos Pons in Costers del Segre where we import club favourites: Alges and Sisquella from. Going forward we are going to expand and take other wines from their range as well.

After the tasting the party head into the main restaurant where we had planned a gourmet 4 course dinner.

We look forward to continuing our relationship with the Gordon Ramsay group and look forward to holding some other events later in the year at their other restaurants in London.
