Corporate Wine Tasting – Pink Tie Club

Corporate Wine Tasting – Pink Tie Club

We were pleased to once again host the annual Pink Tie Club wine tasting, this time at Gordon Ramsay Heddon Street Kitchen just off Regent Street.

80 guests joined us for an Old World versus New World tasting with matches canapes and bowl food at the iconic West End venue.

After magnums of Mas de Daumas Gassac Frizzant on arrival, followed by the whites of Clos Pons Sisquella from Spain, then Vondeling Babiana from South Africa. Moving onto the reds, we went to Tuscany in Italy to taste Poggio al Tesoro Mediterrabefore serving the Mystery Wine (a wine served blind with multiple choice questions for guests to answer).

Our final two wines were real show stoppers – firstly our last stocks of Chateau Musar 2011, then Château Enclos Haut Mazeyres Pomerol 2011

Amazingly 8 people correctly ‘guessed’ the Mystery Wine (Allamand Altamira Malbec) and qualified for the Magnum of Gassac Fizz – sadly only one of them could be picked out of the hat to win!

Another great evening for the Pink Tie Club – and hopefully plenty of money raised for their charity.
